Opera Honey

Famous soloists of the Vienna Opera House have extracted some 30 kg of honey from a beehive put on the building’s roof in spring, Austrian media have reported.
Among the bee keepers were the leading singers Ildiko Raimondi, Alexandra Reinprecht, Herwig Pekoraro, Adolph Schramek and Hans Peter Kammerer.
The first harvest will be sold at an auction on November 24 at a gala concert in the Vienna Opera House devoted to the biodiversity of the Earth.
