
The exhibit of Russia's hi-tech government corporation Rosnano will open at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, the press center for the Rosnanotech Forum, the foundation for nanotechnology development, said on Friday.
The foundation will organize Rosnano's participation in the Expo. The corporation will take part in all significant economic and scientific congresses and exhibitions in Russia as well as in other countries.
The exposition in the Russian pavilion at Expo 2010 will demonstrate Rosnano’s pilot projects contributing to the "smart urban environment" of Russian cities. It corresponds to the Expo 2010 subject "A Better City, A Better Life.
The subject of Rosnano’s exhibit is Nanotechnology Improving Quality of Life. Nano for Life. The exhibit will display the key milestones of nanotechnology development in Russia and in the world, nanotechnology's role in improving the quality of life and Rosnano's role in establishing the Russian nanotech industry.
The 2010 World Expo in Shanghai opened on May 1 and runs until October 31. More than 200 countries, corporations and international organization are taking part.
