Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has appointed Yevgeny Yuriev as his adviser on social issues, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.
Yuriev, president of Russia's ATON investment group and the Delovaya Rossiya business non-governmental organization, will administer issues connected with social welfare assistance, salaries and pension payments.
