Electricity line failure lefts Georgia without light

The territory of almost all Georgia on Sunday remained without light due to electricity transmission line failure, a spokeswoman for the Georgian State Electrosystem of energy company said.

"A fire that broke out at the territory of Ksani populated area has damaged an electricity transmission line. The damage caused failure in the entire electricity system of the country," the spokeswoman said.

The electric power supply will be resumed after 15.30 Moscow time.
